Job summary

People Resources Philippines Corp. is seeking a trade compliance professional in a hybrid role based in Makati, Philippines.

The position focuses on collecting and validating origin declarations, COOs, ATIGA Form D, and RCEP declarations while ensuring accuracy across ASEAN and other regions. You will build data and perform screenings, CBAM data gathering, and due diligence with a view to supporting European and US offices.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in trade compliance, customs brokerage, or similar.
• Familiarity with origin rules and FTA documentation in Asia.
• HS classification literacy at 6–8 digits.
• Fluent business English and phone communication.
• Written English clear for Dutch auditor.
• Strong documentation and follow-through.
• Stable home working setup with connectivity.
• Legal right to work in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Get the documents right: verify supplier declarations, COOs, ATIGA Form D, and RCEP declarations for validity and accuracy.
• Keep data clean: maintain product classification records and perform screening for restricted parties and destinations.
• Spend real time on the phone: 2–4 hours daily contacting brokers, agents, forwarders, and client staff across ASEAN and beyond.
• Log calls and keep dossiers so a European auditor can follow them in years ahead.
• Escalate issues early; surface facts and flag problems for the European leadership.
