Job summary

foodpanda is seeking a Finance Controller based in the Philippines to oversee the Q-Commerce portfolio across APAC, Europe and Turkey. You will support financial planning, budgeting, reporting, analysis and compliance, collaborating with stakeholders to drive automation and efficiency.

You will lead Month End Close, develop models and tools, perform variance analysis, and deliver management reports to inform strategic decisions for regional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 5–6 years in accounting, auditing, or finance; Big 4 preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills and English proficiency.
• Ability to drive change through proactive stakeholder management and business insight.
• Expert knowledge of finance, budgeting, GAAP, and financial modeling.
• Strong communication skills across levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Month End Close for Q-Commerce across APAC, Europe and Turkey.
• Develop tools and financial models to support forecasts and budgets.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis to explain financial performance and key drivers.
• Prepare management reporting decks to support strategic decisions.
• Drive process optimization and standardization, improving reporting efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs and collaborate with FP&A and Business Insights teams.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects and systems implementation.
