Job summary

foodpanda, part of Delivery Hero, is seeking a Finance Controller based in the Philippines to oversee the Q-Commerce portfolio across APAC, Europe and Turkey. You will lead monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, partnering with regional stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timelines.

You will develop financial models, drive process improvements, and provide insightful analyses for strategic decisions while maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity in a fast-growing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
• 5-6 years in accounting, auditing, or finance; Big 4 experience preferred.
• Exceptional analytical skills and fluent English (written and spoken).
• Proven ability to drive organizational change via proactive stakeholder management.
• Expert knowledge of finance, financial modeling, budgeting, and GAAP.
• Strong communication; able to explain complex financial issues to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with regional stakeholders across APAC, Europe, and Turkey to ensure accurate Month End Close for the Q-Commerce portfolio.
• Develop and maintain tools and financial models to support Month End Close, forecasts and budgets.
• Perform variance analysis to explain financial performance and drivers.
• Prepare management reporting decks for strategic decisions.
• Drive process optimization and standardization; implement new accounting processes.
• Monitor KPIs and financial metrics; assess performance and impact.
• Collaborate with FP&A and Business Insights to deliver value-added analysis for forecasting and strategy.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects and system implementations to automate regional processes.
