Job summary

foodpanda is seeking a Finance Controller based in the Philippines to oversee the Q-Commerce portfolio across APAC, Europe and Turkey. You will lead financial planning, budgeting, reporting and compliance, partnering with regional stakeholders to drive value-added insights.

With 5–6 years in accounting/finance and Big 4 experience preferred, you will build scalable financial models, automate processes and support strategic decision-making in a fast-growing global food-delivery group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 5–6 years of accounting, auditing, or finance experience; Big 4 audit experience highly preferred.
• Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Partner with local and regional stakeholders across APAC, Europe, and Turkey to ensure accurate and timely Month End Close for the Q-Commerce portfolio.
• Develop and maintain tools and financial models to support monthly Month End Close, Forecasts and Annual Budgets.
• Perform detailed variance analysis to explain financial performance and key business drivers.
• Prepare accurate and insightful management reporting decks to support strategic decision-making.
• Drive process optimization and standardization, enhancing reporting efficiency by implementing new accounting processes and guidelines.
• Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to assess performance and financial impact.
• Collaborate with FP&A and Business Insights teams to deliver value-added analysis that drives forecasting and business strategy.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects and systems implementation, focusing on continuous automation and streamlining of regional processes.

We're looking for a highly motivated Finance Controller to oversee the Q-Commerce portfolio of APAC, Europe and Turkey region as well as provide value-added analysis contributing to important business decisions with key stakeholders. The Finance Controller will be based in Philippines and will be a key member of the Regional Finance Insights team.

The Controller will collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the APAC, Europe and Turkey region and will support financial planning, budgeting, reporting, analysis, and compliance. Requirements and Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of finance, complex financial modeling, budgeting, and GAAP.


• Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize and explain complex financial issues for stakeholders at all levels.
