Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• 1. Troubleshoot refrigeration systems for clients with different needs
• 2. Replace faulty refrigeration parts
• 3. Install new refrigeration systems, as well as ice machines and other types of beverage equipment
• 4. Accomplishes refrigeration installation and maintenance tasks on maintenance and construction.
• 5. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration and cooling equipment in accordance with the preventive maintenance program.
• 6. Keeps refrigeration inventory up to date and orders replacement parts as needed
• 7. Have the ability to adjust boiler or refrigeration system’s pressures through adjustment of controls.
• 8. Acts as mechanical, technical, and operational, support to all refrigeration pneumatics, hydraulics and boilers for the facility.
• 9. Supports the Maintenance team in matters pertaining to refrigeration, pneumatics, hydraulics and boilers.
• 10. Assures compliance to refrigeration, pneumatics, hydraulics and boilers standards set forth by maintenance management and Regulations.
• 11. Analyzes refrigeration malfunctions from performance and test equipment readings and determines appropriate repairs.
• 12. Checks air compressors, pumps, refrigeration rooms and freezers.
• 13. Answer any questions that clients may have about their refrigeration systems
• 14. Observe and test newly-installed systems to ensure they work properly
• 15. Maintain clean mechanical rooms at all times with no exceptions
• 16. Work with several outside vendors and technicians in a professional manner
• 17. Assist maintenance technicians with mechanical troubleshooting and repairs as needed or as directed by maintenance leadership
• Other duties as assigned
