Job summary

JAM Seafoods Inc. seeks a seasoned refrigeration supervisor with 3–5 years hands-on exp in industrial refrigeration and 1–2 years in a leadership role. Must hold TESDA RAC NCII and have strong skills in troubleshooting, system controls, and maintenance planning.

Job description

Minimum Requirements

Candidate must have at least 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in industrial/commercial refrigeration, with a minimum of 1–2 years supervisory experience. Must have strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of refrigeration and electrical control systems, and demonstrated ability to lead refrigeration technicians and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

Educational Requirements

• TESDA certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) NCII is required
• Graduate of a Vocational course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is an advantage

Work Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial/commercial refrigeration.
• At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team‑leader role.
• Experience with cold storage, blast freezer, chiller, ice plant, or food‑processing refrigeration systems is highly preferred.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of refrigeration equipment.

Technical Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of:Refrigeration cycles and system components
• Compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves and refrigeration controls
• Cold rooms, blast freezers, chillers and freezer systemsElectrical and control systemsRefrigerant charging, recovery and leak detection
• Troubleshooting of refrigeration and electrical problemsTemperature monitoring and control systemsAble to read refrigeration, electrical, mechanical and piping diagrams.
• Knowledge of refrigerants such as R404A, R507, R134a, R410A, R32, ammonia (NH₃), or CO₂ is an advantage, depending on the facility.
• Knowledge of PLC, VFD, sensors, thermostats, pressure controls and refrigeration controllers is an advantage.
• Familiarity with refrigeration tools and testing instruments.
