CBS China Bank Savings is seeking a Reconciliation Analyst to support the preparation, review and monitoring of the Bank’s reconciliation reports and related tasks essential to efficient operations. The role involves handling multiple reconciliation items and ensuring timely resolution in coordination with relevant units.

The analyst assists in preparing reports, consolidating GL balances and processing IOA entries to guarantee accurate postings in the system and reliable financial records.

Job description

The Reconciliation Analyst shall be responsible in the preparation, review and monitoring of the Bank’s various reconciliation reports and other tasks that may be assigned to the Department which are vital in the operation of the Bank.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the preparation of the following reconciliation reports such as:
  • Due To/Fr HO/Branches / Tempo/Bridge Accts
  • Manager’s Check issued by Accounting
  • Due from BSP
  • Due from Other Banks
• Assist in monitoring outstanding balances/float items of the following accounts.
  • Due To/Fr HO/Branches / Tempo/Bridge Accts
  • Manager’s Check issued by Accounting
  • Due from BSP
  • Due from Other Banks
  This is to ascertain that the outstanding float items are properly addressed in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of requested reports by consolidating the required GL account balances and coordinates the same with the concerned units of the bank.
• Prepares responding interoffice account (IOA) entries by reviewing IOA tickets/attachments received from various branches. This is to ascertain that GL entries are properly posted in the system.
