Job summary

Virginia Food, Inc (VFI) is seeking a Receiving In-Charge based at the Head Office in Cebu City. You will oversee receiving activities for indirect materials and office supplies from Head Office to the Compostela plant.

The role requires meticulous verification of goods against specs, timely documentation in the EXACT system, and coordination with end-users, consignees, and Procurement to ensure accurate transfers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any four-year course; technical or Arts and Sciences background preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
• Excellent in both oral and written communication.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Must understand inventory control principles including tracking, counting and managing stock levels.

Responsibilities

• Receiving indirect materials and office supplies from Head Office to transfer to the Compostela plant.
• Perform quality and quantity check, verify goods per specs, and reject non-conforming items; coordinate with end-user and consignee before transfer.
• Enter Receiving Report in the EXACT system to process proof of delivery in compliance with Payables procedures.
• Prepare Stock Transfer Advice (STA) for materials received and delivered indirectly to other sections or departments.
• Coordinate with Procurement for exact transactions of delivered items.

RECEIVING IN-CHARGE

(Work base: Head Office, Cebu City)

Job Responsibilities:

• Receiving of Indirect material and office supply item or any goods from Head Office to transfer in Compostela plant;
• Perform quality and quantity check, goods verification according to specs and standard, and rejection if non-conformance, coordination to end-user and consignee prior to transfer on its destination;
• Performing Receiving Report in system EXACT, to process and transact document proof of delivery in compliance of procedures held by Payables;
• Performing Stock Transfer Advise (STA) for other materials received and delivered indirectly address to other section or department, and;
• Coordination to Procurement department for exact and precise transaction of delivered items.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any four-year course, preferably on Technical Background; or any Arts and Sciences course
• Preferably with 6 months to 1 year of relevant work experience
• Excellent in both oral and written communication
• Must be detail-oriented
• Must have an understanding with inventory control principles including tracking, counting, and managing stock levels
