Job summary

Scrubbed is seeking a Corporate Accounting Associate to support the accounting team with US GAAP-driven financial reporting and NetSuite maintenance. You will assist with the monthly close, coordinate with auditors, and ensure accurate records across entities.

The role requires 2–4 years of real estate accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with NetSuite. A CPA/CA or eligibility is preferred, enabling precise, timely close processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or CA designation or eligibility.
• 2–4 years of experience in real estate financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required).
• Familiarity with NetSuite is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP principles related to real estate investments and funds.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high‑quality output.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily and monthly cash positions in NetSuite and reconcile movements.
• Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations; investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare and upload customer invoices in NetSuite; monitor receivables and collect on past‑due balances.
• Record intercompany invoices and journal entries; reconcile intercompany balances monthly.
• Respond to external audit PBC requests and draft audit confirmations; support parent company audits.
• Code and approve AP invoices in NetSuite; coordinate monthly search for unrecorded payables.
• Identify process improvements and automate where possible; maintain documentation and version control.
