Job summary

Scrubbed is seeking a Corporate Accounting Associate to support the corporate accounting team in a hybrid, day-shift environment. You will assist with the monthly close, manage cash, perform reconciliations, and support intercompany and A/P/AP processes using NetSuite, all while ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or CA designation or eligibility.
• 2–4 years of experience with real estate financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, financial modeling).
• Familiarity with NetSuite.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP related to real estate investments and funds.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily and monthly cash positions in NetSuite and reconcile movements.
• Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare and upload customer invoices in NetSuite and monitor outstanding receivables.
• Prepare and record intercompany invoices and related journal entries; reconcile intercompany balances.
• Support external audits and respond to PBC requests with documentation.
• Code and approve AP invoices in NetSuite.
• Identify automation opportunities and improve accounting processes and documentation.
