Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Mumbai seeks a seasoned Chief Compliance Officer to lead the organization’s independent Compliance Function and strengthen a robust regulatory governance framework across the NBFC.

The CCO will interface with the RBI and regulators, advising the MD & CEO and the Board while driving risk management, governance, and conduct standards through policy creation, monitoring, and training.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Finance, Law, Commerce, Economics or related discipline.
• CA/CS/LLB/MBA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent oversight of compliance with RBI regulations, applicable laws, rules, notifications and guidelines.
• Establish and continuously enhance the enterprise-wide Compliance Management Framework.
• Advise the Board and MD & CEO on regulatory implications of strategic initiatives and new products.
• Lead regulatory interactions, inspections, reviews and RBI-related correspondence.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance monitoring and reporting program.

Education
