Job summary

Globe in the Philippines is seeking a RAN Solutions Engineer to bridge cutting-edge global technologies with practical network deployment. Qualifications

• Experience in RAN design and deployment.
• Knowledge of 5G/RAN technologies and vendor ecosystems.
• Ability to perform feasibility studies and translate findings into actionable plans.
• Ability to craft and maintain engineering guidelines for multiple RAN domains.
• Ability to define and track KPIs for innovation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead feasibility studies for New Solutions and Strategies from Huawei, Ericsson and other vendors, considering cost, customer experience and future-proofing.
• Create and maintain engineering guidelines for RAN domains including New Sites and expansions (Huawei/T1-T5, Ericsson T7-T8).
• Introduce innovation KPIs to measure the impact of new technologies and processes.
• Evaluate outdoor coverage technologies and align with Globe's mobile strategy.
• Analyze emerging use cases for Mobile/Wireless services in global markets.
• Establish an Accountability Framework for guideline adoption and compliance tracking.
• Lead the Green RAN initiative, auditing hardware and optimizing power use.
• Ensure safety and technical standards compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data for projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
