Job summary

Official DOTr-MRT3 Website is seeking a safety officer with at least two years of experience to implement government and company safety rules within the facilities and operations. Responsibilities

• Implementation of the applicable safety rules and regulations that are imposed either by the government or under the company safety code.
• Formulation and recommendation of the company’s internal safety rules and regulations for the proper handling of machine, tools and equipment, to safeguard company personnel and properties and the riding public.
• Formulation and implementation of safety plans.
• Monitoring the compliance with applicable safety rules and regulations through periodic and spot check.
• Assurance of the availability and good working condition of safety facilities within the various work area.
• Assurance of the safety of the facilities.
• Conduct of programs and schedule of activities for the prevention of accidents that may cause injury to employee and public and damage to property.
• Conduct of programs and schedule of activities on fire and disaster prevention control and generate safety awareness and involvement among employees.
• Conduct of studies and research on new trends in industrial safety management for the adoption of applicable safety measures techniques and devices.
• Preparation and submission of report after boarding of Dynamic Train Testing, Test/School Train.
• Performance of other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
