Job summary

Colas Rail APAC seeks a Cost Controller in the Philippines to manage cost data, budgets, and forecasts for rail infrastructure projects. You will ensure accurate allocation across subsystems, support monthly closes, and provide early cost impact assessments.

The role requires a degree in accounting or finance, strong Excel and ERP skills, and experience in construction or EPC projects. Collaboration with engineering, procurement, planning and contract teams is essential to deliver reliable cost

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Accountancy.
  • Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, cost control, auditing, or project accounting.
  • Strong Excel and ERP skills (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar).
  • Experience in construction, infrastructure, railway, or EPC projects is an advantage.
  • CPA/CMA is preferred but not required (if applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cost data accuracy and integrity within the cost control system.
  • Assist project budgets, ETC, and EOL including preliminaries, track, and civil subsystems.
  • Prepare and populate monthly cost reports with variances, commitments, and forecast updates.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Contract, and Site Teams on cost-related info.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure traceable cost records.
  • Perform cost apportionment across rail subsystems and work fronts.
