Job summary

Globalhealth Diagnostic Center, Inc. is seeking a Radiology Assistant to perform x-ray procedures under supervision. You will position patients, operate imaging equipment, and uphold safety to minimize radiation exposure. You will assist the radiologist in reading images and typing results, and record patient data in the radiology information system.

Responsibilities

• Take the necessary x-ray requested by the patient’s doctor or health care provider or as prescribed by the employer and/or sanitary health officer in cases of annual medical examination requirements or by school physicians for enrollment purposes.
• Correctly position the patient, adjust the imaging equipment to the specified position
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to themselves and to the patient
• Knowledge of radiographic equipment CR, DR
• Operate radiologic imaging equipment safely
• Assist the company’s Radiologist in the reading of the images including the accurate typing of the results.
• Record all patient information in radiology information systems
• Ensure that all x-ray records are complete, organized and recorded in the necessary logbooks.
• Facilitate the release of the x-ray results with proper documentation.
