Job summary

The candidate should maintain equipment, input orders into the EMR, and coordinate with the Imaging team. New graduates are welcome, with an emphasis on safety and accuracy in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Newly licensed RadTechs with no clinical experience encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of radiologic safety, cleanliness and infection control policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and assist with dressing and positioning.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images and adjust exposure settings.
• Use radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintain working order of equipment.
• Complete administrative forms and maintain procedure logs.
• Retrieve radiologic orders and input data into the EMR; manage radiologic supplies.
• Coordinate with Imaging team for proper endorsement and transmission of images.
• Serve as back-up for clinical team members by handling patient flow and registration.
