Job summary

Thomson Medical Pte Ltd is seeking a radiographer with ultrasound proficiency to perform general radiography, MRI assistance, and breast screening, while ensuring patient safety and accurate reporting.

The role includes on-call duties, collaboration with radiologists, and adherence to radiation safety guidelines in a fast-paced clinical setting. Impeccable documentation of procedures and allergies is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Radiography (NYP) or UK equivalent.
• Qualified radiographer with ultrasound skills and a certificate/diploma in medical ultrasound.
• At least 1 year of related working experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general X-Rays, MRI, breast screening and assist radiologist in fluoroscopic examinations.
• Perform image processing and generate high-quality films for reporting by radiologist.
• Observe radiation safety guidelines in executing radiation to patients.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure consent forms and allergies are documented.
• Inform radiologists on patient allergies.
• Perform portable and theatre X-Ray examinations.
• Follow guidelines on segregation of non-conforming films for quality improvement.
• Exercise responsibility for equipment and specific jobs designated.
• Perform other duties as assigned by HOD.
• Take on-call duties as rostered.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs general X-Rays, MRI, breast screening and assist radiologist in fluoroscopic examinations.

• Performs image processing and generate films with high quality images for reporting by radiologist.

• Observe radiation safety guidelines compliance in executing radiation to patients.

• Explain procedures to patients and ensure consent forms and known allergies are duly documented and signed by patients.

• Inform radiologists on patient allergies.

• Performs portable and theatre X-Ray examinations

• Follow guidelines on segregation of non-conforming products (eg films) for reject analysis which aims to improve quality and performance standard of radiography.

• Exercise responsibility for equipment and specific jobs designated

• Performs any other duties as assigned by HOD

• Performs on call duties as rostered

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• Diploma of College of Radiographer, UK or Diploma in Radiography (NYP) or equivalent

• Qualified radiographer possessing ultrasound skills and a recognized certificate/diploma in medical ultrasound.

• At least 1 year of related working experience
