Job summary

MediCard Phils., Inc. is seeking a dynamic Imaging professional to perform X-ray, Ultrasound and Mammography procedures, encode results, and ensure timely, accurate imaging reports. The role requires patient preparation, equipment handling, and collaboration with doctors.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, maintaining records, ensuring safety and quality, and supporting PME packages or doctor requests. This position is based in Metro Manila at MediCard clinics/hospitals.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of BS Radiologic Technology and Radiologic Licensure Exam Passer.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience performing similar imaging tasks.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and prepares patient for x-ray/ultrasound/mammogram exams.
• Performs imaging procedures as part of PME packages or per doctor’s request.
• Issues approval to imaging requests based on guidelines prior to availment.
• Assists doctors in ultrasound procedures.
• Prepares images for doctor reads and encodes them accordingly.
• Maintains and inspects all imaging equipment.
• Monitors preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment as scheduled.
• Manages disposal of imaging waste materials.
• Maintains daily records and prepares reports of imaging procedures.
• Receives and records transmitted results.
• Prepares and submits timely reports.
• Ensures sufficient inventory of supplies.
• Performs other tasks assigned by Supervisor.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible in performing imaging procedures (X-ray, Ultrasound and Mammography) andencodes them correctly and accordingly. Delivers precise and accurate as well as on-timeimaging results to the patients.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedules and prepares patient for x-ray/ultrasound/mammogram exams.
• Performs imaging procedures either as part of PME packages or per doctor’s request.
• Issues approval to imaging request as appropriate based on our approval guidelines prior to availment.
• Assists doctors in the conduct of ultrasound procedures.
• Prepares images of x-ray/ultrasound/mammogram for doctor’s reading and encodes them accordingly.
• Maintains and performs regular inspection on all imaging equipment.
• Monitors and ensures that imaging equipment/machines undergo preventive maintenance and calibration as scheduled.
• Manages and ensures efficient disposal of various waste materials.
• Maintains records of all daily imaging procedures and prepares daily reports.
• Prepares and submits timely reports.
• Receives and records transmitted results.
• Prepares and submits timely reports.
• Ensures and monitors sufficient inventory of supplies.
• Performs other related tasks assigned by Supervisor as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES

• Education : Graduate of BS Radiologic Technology and Radiologic Licensure Exam Passer
