Job summary

SGS Global Business Services Asia Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking a qualified leader to drive the Record to Report (R2R) function. You will guide and support in-scope countries to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions and closing activities.

Responsibilities include leading the R2R team, distributing workloads, coordinating with O2C and P2P, and delivering monthly reconciliations, management reports, and KPIs to stakeholders. A strong process-improvement mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence by guiding and supporting in-scope countries to deliver timely and accurate financial R2R transactions.
• Review journal entries, ensure proper supporting documents and approvals are attached.
• Review bank reconciliation and clear reconciling items in the next accounting period.
• Ensure compliance to intercompany accounting policy.
• Ensure compliance with CapEx policy for fixed assets.
• Coordinate month-end closing and drive task completion by affiliates and R2R team.
• Drive monthly reconciliations and ensure balances tie to the trial balance.
• Coordinate with O2C and P2P to complete assigned schedules.
• Post accounting adjustments for inventory per local Finance team.
• Prepare management reporting and P&L analysis.
• Implement global standard processes.
• Ensure compliance to the Group Financial Manual.
• Identify, facilitate, and implement process improvements.
• Lead and drive the GBS R2R Team activities.
• Distribute workload and supervise the team daily.
• Manage HR matters: training, leaves monitoring, performance evaluation.
• Serve as the point of contact for issues escalation within R2R process.
• Organize and lead team meetings.
• Coordinate with other teams to resolve issues and complete deliverables.
• Prepare operational KPIs and performance reports for stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with countries and GPOs.
• Disseminate information to direct reports.
• Schedule regular touchpoints with FSSC Manager and Affiliates.
