Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Culinary, Nutrition, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related course.
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as R&D Supervisor or QA Supervisor in food manufacturing.
Strong technical knowledge in Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, and product development processes.
Background in product formulation, testing, and commercialization.
Excellent leadership, people management, and team-building skills.
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, able to collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage R&D projects involving new product development, product improvement, and cost optimization.
Supervise formulation, testing, raw material sourcing, and presentations of new or improved products to management.
Monitor industry trends, ingredient innovations, and technologies to enhance product competitiveness.
Oversee Quality Assurance team in implementing GMP, HACCP, and other quality management systems.
Ensure finished products, raw materials, and packaging materials meet company and regulatory quality standards.
Conduct and coordinate internal audits, root cause analyses, and preventive actions for non-conformances.
Enforce food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols across production and commissary facilities.
Ensure compliance with documentation, SOPs, regulatory requirements, product labelling, and certifications.
Provide technical support to cross-functional teams including Marketing, Procurement, and Operations.
Develop department goals, foster collaboration, and create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
