Job summary

Magnum RFM Ice Cream, Inc. (Selecta Philippines) seeks an R&D Process Development Executive to lead development, optimization, and industrialization of manufacturing processes for innovation and cost transformation.

You will bridge R&D and Supply Chain to ensure robust technology transfer and continuous improvement across sites. Required is a BS in Food Technology with 1–2 years in related roles, strong root-cause analysis, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• BS in Food Technology or related field with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong root-cause analysis, process control, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and work cross-functionally.
• Adaptability to a fast-moving, evolving organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and scale-up of manufacturing processes across internal units and third-party facilities.
• Define critical process, product, and equipment parameters for robust operations.
• Own process development workstreams from lab scale to full industrial production.
• Serve as R&D focal point for Supply Chain units and manufacturing partners.
• Drive root cause analysis and resolve production quality, efficiency, and waste issues.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and regional R&D teams to align on solutions.

The role

The R&D Process Development Executive leads the development, optimization, and industrialization of manufacturing processes to enable innovation, renovation, and cost transformation initiatives driven by process. This role serves as a strategic interface between R&D and Supply Chain, driving end‑to‑end process excellence, ensuring robust technology transfer, and delivering continuous improvement across sourcing units and third‑party manufacturers.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Conducts the design, development, and scale-up of manufacturing processes across internal sourcing units and third‑party facilities / RM supplier/s
• Defines critical process, product, and equipment parameters to ensure robust, scalable, and reproducible operations
• Owns process development workstreams, ensuring seamless transition from lab scale to full industrial production
• Acts as the R&D focal point for assigned Supply Chain units and manufacturing partners
• Leads complex root cause analysis and drives resolution of production challenges related to quality, efficiency, and waste
• Drives strong cross‑functional alignment with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Regional/Country R&D teams
• Translates business and consumer needs into process solutions

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has a BS in Food Technology or a related course, with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Brings strong skills in root cause analysis, critical thinking & process control, and stakeholder management
• Thinks end‑to‑end and takes ownerships for results
• Is comfortable working in a fast‑moving, evolving organisation
• Values collaboration, clarity and low‑ego ways of working
• Is amenable for a fixed‑term contract of 1 year
