Job summary

Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking an R&D Process Development Executive to lead design, development, and scale-up of manufacturing processes for innovation and cost transformation.

You will bridge R&D and Supply Chain, own process development workstreams, and drive technology transfer across internal and third‑party facilities. Requires a BS in Food Technology with 1–2 years of experience and a fixed-term 1-year contract.

Responsibilities

• Own process development workstreams and ensure smooth lab-to-plant transfer.
• Act as R&D focal point for Supply Chain units and manufacturing partners.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolve production quality, efficiency, and waste issues.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and R&D teams.

The role

The R&D Process Development Executive leads the development, optimization, and industrialization of manufacturing processes to enable innovation, renovation, and cost transformation initiatives driven by process. This role serves as a strategic interface between R&D and Supply Chain, driving end-to-end process excellence, ensuring robust technology transfer, and delivering continuous improvement across sourcing units and third‑party manufacturers.

What you'll be responsible for

• Conducts the design, development, and scale‑up of manufacturing processes across internal sourcing units and third‑party facilities / RM supplier/s
• Defines critical process, product, and equipment parameters to ensure robust, scalable, and reproducible operations
• Owns process development workstreams, ensuring seamless transition from lab scale to full industrial production
• Acts as the R&D focal point for assigned Supply Chain units and manufacturing partners
• Leads complex root cause analysis and drives resolution of production challenges related to quality, efficiency, and waste
• Drives strong cross‑functional alignment with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Regional/Country R&D teams
• Translates business and consumer needs into process solutions

Has a BS in Food Technology or a related course, with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Brings strong skills in root cause analysis, critical thinking & process control, and stakeholder management Thinks end‑to‑end and takes ownerships for results Is comfortable working in a fast‑moving, evolving organisation Values collaboration, clarity and low-ego ways of working Is amenable for a fixed‑term contract of 1 year
