Job summary

Stafflink Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Laboratory Technician to manage laboratory equipment and support R&D lab operations near Labrador Park MRT in Singapore. The role involves maintaining tools, managing inventory, and assisting in procurement with external vendors.

Candidates should have a Diploma/Bachelor in Materials, E&E, Mechanical, Chemistry or Physics and at least 2 years of lab equipment experience. Working days are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Bachelor in materials or related engineering/science fields.
  • At least 2 years operating/maintaining laboratory equipment, preferably in cleanroom or R&D labs.
  • Hands-on experience with optical assembly equipment is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Laboratory Equipment Management.
  • Support the operation of assembly, metrology, and optical test equipment within the lab.
  • Perform regular tool operational checks and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal tool condition and minimal downtime.
  • Material & Sample Inventory Management.
  • Manage tracking and timely procurement of lab consumables and equipment-attached consumables.
  • Oversee tracking and organization of prototype samples.
  • Facilitate and assist in procurement processes with external vendors.
  • Maintain a safe, compliant, and well-functioning laboratory environment.
  • Take full responsibility for all laboratory-related safety protocols and regulatory compliance matters.
  • Compile raw data and provide lab-level test reports to Research Engineers with active technical feedback.

  • Prior exp with R&D lab equipment is advantageous!

Responsibilities:
  • Laboratory Equipment Management

Requirements:
  • Diploma/Bachelor in Materials / Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry / Physics or equivalent disciplines

  • At least 2 years of working experience in operating/maintaining laboratory equipment, in cleanroom or R&D labs preferred.

  • Hands‑on experience with optical assembly equipment is desirable but not essential

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Other Information:
  • Working Days/Hours: Mon to Fri (830am to 530pm)

  • Location: Near Labrador Park MRT (10mins walk from MRT)

  • 1 year contract, may renew or convert depending on performance / business needs
