Samsung Electronics Device Solution is seeking a Laboratory Operations Engineer to oversee semiconductor and optical lab infrastructure in the DSRS center. You will manage high-precision equipment, control inventories, and ensure safety compliance, while supporting R&D engineers with testing feedback.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, data reporting, and collaboration with vendors to keep the lab running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in a science or engineering major.

Responsibilities

• Support operation of assembly, metrology, and optical test equipment.
• Perform regular tool checks and preventative maintenance.
• Manage tracking and timely procurement of lab consumables and equipment-attached consumables.
• Oversee tracking and organization of prototype samples.
• Facilitate and assist in procurement with external vendors.
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and well-functioning laboratory environment.
• Take responsibility for all lab safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Compile raw data and provide lab-level test reports with feedback to SG Research engineers.
