Job summary

Bühler Gruppe in Makati, Philippines seeks a quotation engineer to lead technical and commercial responses, ensuring compliance with Bühler directives and EHS standards.

The role covers analysis of customer requirements, development of technical concepts, and preparation of layouts and schedules, with global support across Bühler sub companies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in quotation engineering, project engineering, or related technical-commercial role.
• Proven commercial knowledge relevant to quotation and project costing.
• Strong background in technical concept development, layout preparation, and stakeholder communication.
• Strong planning, organizing and priority-setting skills in a project-driven environment.
• Advanced knowledge in CAD (AutoCAD 3D).
• Good communication skills with proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Technical and commercial responsibility for quotations.
• Elaborate technical and commercial analysis of customer requirements in alignment with the sales manager.
• Manage the allocated scope of work to achieve the quotation goals and objectives.
• Development of the technical concept in collaboration with sales, technology, engineering and commercial services.
• Preparation of layouts, project schedules and DOW (Division of Work) document.
• Support on handling new business segments.
• Worldwide professional support to responsible persons of quotation in Bühler sub companies.
