Job summary

QUAD-R Building Solutions seeks a Quantity Surveyor for a multi-storey mixed-use building project. You will specialize in material take-offs, precise quantity measurements, and act as the technical lead for quantity-related evaluations with clients and management.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering background, 2+ years in quantity surveying or project controls, and proficiency with take-off software like PlanSwift or Bluebeam. Familiarity with CAD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Engineering license preferred but not mandatory.
• At least 2 years of relevant quantity surveying, estimating, or project controls experience.
• Experience with multi-storey or vertical building developments.
• Proficient reading, interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong technical writing, organizational, and reporting skills.
• Solid knowledge of construction materials, pricing, and market rates.
• Proficiency in digital take-off software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam Revu) and basic CAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed material take-offs and quantity measurements from drawings for all scopes to establish baseline quantities.
• Review, manage, and propose quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
• Maintain collaboration with the Cost Control Engineer and Procurement Department.
• Submit a proposal for overall quantity and material take-off for the Mixed Used Building.
• Assist in projects requiring immediate billing concerns and quantity take-offs.
