Job summary

FT Drafting Corporation is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join the estimating team in quantifying materials from drawings and related tasks. The position is based onsite at Alabang City, Muntinlupa, Philippines, with responsibilities spanning take-offs, BOM preparation, and collaboration with procurement to secure favorable terms.

Qualifications

• Degree in BS Civil Engineering or BS Architecture.
• With 1-2 years of experience in Facade industry.
• Able to read & navigate construction drawings/understanding of Facades & componentry (fixings, anchors, extrusions, trims).
• Understand project specifications (colours & finishes).
• Experience using take-off software such as Cubit and Bluebeam.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications (especially Excel).

Responsibilities

• Support in ensuring efficient and accurate quantity take-offs.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Measure project plans and shop drawings.
• Formulate detailed bill of materials for ordering.
• Perform other tasks set by the Direct Manager.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to be part of FT Drafting Corporation. The Quantity Surveyor will work together with the Estimating team in quantifying materials based on drawings and other related responsibilities. This will lead to the team's success of providing excellent service to its clients.

The company was established in the Philippines on the year of 2022. As of today, FT Drafting Corporation is growing as a start-up organization with its main office located at Alabang City, Muntinlupa.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support in ensuring efficient and accurate quantity take-offs.

• Collaborate with the procurement team to negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors.

• Measure project plans and shop drawings.

• Formulate detailed bill of materials for ordering.

• Perform other tasks set by the Direct Manager.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Degree in BS Civil Engineering or BS Architecture

• With 1-2 years of experience working in Facade industry.

• Able to read & navigate construction drawings/understanding of Facades & componentry e.g fixings, anchors, extrusions, trims.

Work Schedule (Dayshift)

• Monday to Friday (6AM-3PM; Manila Time)

Work Setup (Onsite)

• You will be working onsite.

• Your equipment will be provided by the company.

• Alabang City, Muntinlupa
