Job summary

KTP Consultants Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the Singapore QS Team from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

You will prepare cost plans, pre-tender estimates, review variation costs, and provide financial guidance to the project team. A strong knowledge of measurement forms and QS software is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying with relevant working experience in the Construction industry.
• Experience in cost consultancy/contracts management environment.
• Good knowledge of measurement forms (SMM, CEMS) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Singapore QS Team from inception to completion and ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
• Prepare cost reports, cost plans, and pre-tender cost estimates during design and tender stages.
• Review and prepare cost for variation orders; assess variation costs, monthly financial reports, progress payments and final accounts.
• Collaborate with the Project Team to provide cost and financial advice as required.

Job description

• Review and prepare to cost for request of variation order; assess the associated variation costs, monthly financial report; process of progress payment and final account.
• Work closely with the Project Team to provide cost and financial advice as and when required.
• Recognized degree in Quantity Surveying with relevant working experience in the Construction industry
• Essentially possess working experience in a cost consultancy/contracts management environment
• Good working knowledge of standard forms of measurement, CEMS, SMM, or equivalent
• Proficient in QS application and software
• Able to work independently and be a good team player as well
• Possess excellent people skills with the ability to integrate within a multi-disciplinary team and communicate with external consultants and clients
