Position: Quality Assurance Engineer (Unspecified role type)
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all EHS practices and standards across the site, proactively reporting hazards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of products and processes to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and support root cause analysis and corrective action processes for nonconformities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Production, Supply Chain) to resolve quality issues.
- Support creation and review of control plans, PFMEA, and inspection criteria.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and reduce defects.
- Manage customer complaints and quality notifications, providing timely feedback to stakeholders.
- Support supplier quality management by participating in supplier audits and qualification activities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, AS9100, or other applicable quality standards.
- Train and support operators, technicians, and other staff on quality processes and requirements.
- Participate in new product introductions by reviewing design documents and validating manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent industry qualification.
- In absence of a degree, at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Experience in manufacturing assembly process.
- High proficiency in problem‑solving methodologies.
- Organizational skill with ability to handle multiple priorities.
- High proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- No disciplinary case within the past year and not currently under a Performance Improvement Plan.
- At least one year in current position.
