Job summary

Indra Philippines, Inc. is seeking a QE – Automation Tester to ensure quality, reliability, and stability of backend systems supporting card management products.

The ideal candidate will have strong automated testing experience using Python and Behave, and a solid understanding of testing strategies, CI/CD practices. The role involves developing testing strategies, transforming requirements into test scenarios, creating automated and manual test cases, and collaborating with Dev/QA/Product teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development and automation testing
• Proficient in Python and Behave testing framework
• Strong automation testing and verification experience
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Experience creating automation frameworks and automated test solutions
• Ability to analyze requirements and convert them into test scenarios
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with at least one database technology (PostgreSQL/Oracle/MySQL/MongoDB)
• Understanding of software quality, scalability, reliability, and system stability

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop testing strategies to ensure system functionality, reliability, and stability

• Analyze requirements and transform them into functional test scenarios

• Create, maintain, and execute automated and manual test cases

• Design and develop test plans, test scenarios, and test execution reports

• Build and maintain automation scripts using Python and Behave

• Contribute to CI/CD initiatives and automation improvements

• Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and Product teams for release planning and testing activities

• Identify defects, document issues, and support resolution efforts

• Provide recommendations to improve system testability, scalability, and performance
