Job summary

Indra Philippines, Inc. is seeking a QE – Automation Tester to ensure the quality and stability of backend card management systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Python, Behave, and automated testing strategies, with exposure to CI/CD practices.

You will develop test strategies, create automation scripts, and collaborate with Development, QA, and Product teams to ensure smooth releases and robust test coverage across databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of software development and automation testing experience.
• Proficiency in Python and the Behave framework.
• Experience building automation frameworks and automated test solutions.
• Ability to analyze requirements and convert them into functional test scenarios.
• Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL/Oracle/MySQL/MongoDB.

Responsibilities

• Develop testing strategies to ensure system functionality, reliability, and stability.
• Analyze requirements and transform them into functional test scenarios.
• Create, maintain, and execute automated and manual test cases.
• Design and develop test plans, test scenarios, and test execution reports.
• Build and maintain automation scripts using Python and Behave.
• Contribute to CI/CD initiatives and automation improvements.
• Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and Product teams for release planning and testing activities.
• Identify defects, document issues, and support resolution efforts.
• Provide recommendations to improve system testability, scalability, and performance.
