Job summary

MinebeaMitsumi Philippines is seeking Quality Engineers to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality and safety. You will analyze data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include conducting failure analyses, implementing corrective and preventive actions, monitoring production data, and leading cross-functional teams to reduce waste and improve process capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication.

We are looking for Quality Engineers who will play a crucial role in optimizing and improving our manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze data, and implement innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth failure analysis to identify root causes of product issues.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
• Utilize advanced analytical techniques and tools for defect investigation.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure processes meet or exceed quality standards.
• Evaluate and analyze production data (i.e. production control charts, reliability, process capability index, etc.) to determine opportunities for improvement in quality
• Support quality assurance initiatives to meet industry standards and regulations.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams focused on continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Qualifications:

• With a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
• With at least 1-2 years experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean methodologies
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Shown advanced proficiency in using decision-making principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills
• Project management experience would be beneficial
