Universal Robina Corporation – Flour Division is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to collect samples, prepare analyses, and monitor in-line processes to ensure top-quality products and strict adherence to the QA system.
The role involves verifying PRP/OPRP/CCP programs, maintaining records, and supporting process improvements. Fresh graduates with relevant licenses or internships are encouraged to apply, demonstrating strong initiative and communication skills.
The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for sample collection, preparation, analysis, and monitoring of in-line processes and products, including proper documentation and record keeping. The role also participates in PRP, OPRP, and CCP verifications.
Conduct sample collection, preparation, and testing based on the approved Quality Plan.
Monitor and document in-process and product quality results.
Conduct and participate in PRP, OPRP, and CCP verifications.
Monitor compliance with Food Safety and Quality Management System requirements.
Accomplish and maintain quality monitoring records, reports, and documents.
Validate returns related to customer complaints.
Issue corrective action reports for customer complaints and product/process deviations, as necessary.
Monitor plant trials and experiments under the QA function.
Monitor and track product and material disposition.
Record process parameters for process control monitoring.
Graduate of BS Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or any related science course.
Preferably a Licensed Chemical Technician or Licensed Chemist.
Preferably with related experience in Quality Control and/or Quality Assurance.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, particularly those with a relevant professional license and internship/OJT experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Laboratory, Food Safety, or Manufacturing.
Trainable, hardworking, self-motivated, decisive, and with strong initiative.
Able to work well under pressure and interact effectively with people at different levels.
Proficient in oral and written communication.
Knowledgeable in MS Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
