Atlas Fertilizer Corporation is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Manager to oversee the entire QC lab operations in Toledo City, Cebu. The role focuses on ensuring accurate analyses, compliant results, and efficient service to support production.

The ideal candidate will have a Chemistry degree, a Registered Chemist license, and at least five years in an analytical lab, with strong leadership and safety commitment.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry is required.
• Registered Chemist certification required or eligible.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an analytical laboratory.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and GLP.
• Proficient in MS Office and report writing.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the overall management, supervision, and continuous improvement of Quality Control Laboratory operations. It ensures the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of laboratory testing and analysis, maintains compliance with established quality standards and procedures, oversees laboratory personnel and resources, and ensures the efficient delivery of laboratory services to support production and business requirements. The position is also responsible for budget management, laboratory performance monitoring, certification of analytical results, and the development of a competent and safety-conscious laboratory workforce.

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
• Registered Chemist.
• Preferably five years of work experience in an analytical laboratory.
• Knowledge of handling and using basic analytical laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, laboratory quality management systems, and good laboratory practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and develop laboratory personnel.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Willingness to be assigned in Toledo City, Cebu.
