Key Responsibilities:
Implement 5S in the workplace.
Knows and practices the required health and safety procedures for chemical handling to mitigate the hazards of exposure.
Practices high quality standard in the performance of specific tasks geared towards customer satisfaction.
Improves and does all necessary corrective measures in the overall performance of duties and responsibilities.
Abides with documented procedures in the QMS/ISO 9001:2015 and EMS/ISO 14001:2015 manuals, the Company Code of Discipline, Quality and Environmental Policies, Mission and Vision.
Maintains working notebook and records daily tasks to be done.
Performs other functions that may be assigned, commensurate to qualification/ training and seminars attended.
As the person in charge of ensuring results of the highest quality, the lab manager creates systems to monitor data quality and performance.
Provides Quality Control laboratory results trending information, Inventory management of materials and equipment.
The lab head/manager’s job is to conduct testing in timely manner, personally reviewing any abnormal results to find the root of the irregularity.
Maintains Quality Control laboratory equipment performance by establishing quality standards; developing operations, quality, and troubleshooting procedures; ensuring staff compliance; certifying instrument performance and calibration; arranging equipment replacement, service, and repair.
Maintains laboratory staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees and provides all records for training to HR.
Laboratory quality managers respond to inquiries with unsatisfied customers, researching discrepancies to see if an error was made and explaining any resulting corrective procedures.
Maintains quality results by participating in internal and external audits; reviewing quality control and quality assurance programs; making adjustments in policy and procedures; generating reports; maintaining records.
Serves as the company representative during all lab audits, assisting auditors with any inquiries and reporting findings to management.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
