Job summary

Benitua-Gan Ventures, Inc. is seeking a QC Specialist to establish and maintain the Quality Control Laboratory in accordance with Philippine FDA GMP requirements.

You will develop quality systems, prepare SOPs, conduct chemical and microbiological testing, and manage lab equipment and samples, ensuring accurate data and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Licensed Chemist or Licensed Chemical Technician required.
• At least 3 years in a food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetic, or testing laboratory.
• Knowledge of Philippine FDA GMP for Food Supplements.
• Knowledge of Laboratory Quality Management Systems.
• Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Knowledge of food chemistry and analytical testing.
• Knowledge of basic microbiological testing.
• Experience with laboratory SOP preparation and review.
• Experience with laboratory setup and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the Quality Control Laboratory in accordance with Philippine FDA GMP requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain laboratory quality systems and applicable procedures.
• Prepare, review, and maintain laboratory SOPs and documentation.
• Perform and/or oversee chemical and microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Conduct laboratory testing and ensure accurate recording and interpretation of analytical results.
• Manage laboratory equipment, instruments, reagents, samples, and related documentation.
• Conduct basic microbiological testing using ready-to-use dry media systems, such as Compact Dry.
• Investigate OOS/OOT results and support appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Implement CAPA and participate in laboratory risk assessments.
• Ensure laboratory activities comply with applicable regulatory and quality requirements.
