Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Technician to execute product and process controls per the control plan with production and engineering teams in the Plant. You will lead 8D problem resolution and coordinate updates with SMT operations and support teams.

The role requires ensuring compliance to control plans, containment, and inspection, and leading disposition of non-conforming products while driving timely resolutions and factual reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Technical / Vocational graduate in Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing / Quality or related experience.
• Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in electronic components, their operation, and applications.
• Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in cross-cultural teams.
• Assertive, adaptable, and a strong team player with good leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the ongoing compliance to the production control plans and other manufacturing process requirements.
• Ensures compliance to the containment, rework, and inspection processes for non-conforming product. Leads disposition of non-conforming product and ensures timely disposition.
• Quality lead on problem solving team and for Fast Response System. Responsible for driving the problem-solving process including tool use, confirming 8D content and meeting customer and/or internal response time requirements.
• Resolve quality issues by identifying problems, examining solution options and implementing action plans.
• Has the authority and the responsibility to stop any process or product delivery in case of a non-conformance of customer expectations, safety, or environmental risks.
• Release and/or review Purging Notice, Quality Alerts, CTQs, MRB, RMA, ECO, PRS and WIS in the absence of Quality Engineer. Ensures timely and accurate ECO implementation that affects SMT assemblies. Release CTQs when issues come up Review Purging notice
• Regularly generate/release reports (weekly/monthly) and other monthly report and released to stakeholders.
