Job description

The QC inspector is responsible for examining products and materials during manufacturing to ensure they meet company standards. They conduct and/or validate various tests on product quality, maintain detailed inspection records, and report any defects or deviations to their team leads.

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect products: conduct in-line inspection during production, as well as final inspection of all finished goods before delivery, to ensure they meet GABC's quality standards.

• Perform/ validate tests: perform durability, functionality, and safety tests to confirm product quality and to verify the quality of products and systems.

• Record inspection results: maintain detailed inspection records, documenting any deviations or defects communicate/document defects & findings: report defects to supervisors and brands and collaborate on corrective actions.

• Ensure adherence to design specifications & requirements: verify that products meet technical pack specifications and comply with company and regulatory standards inspection standards & familiarity (proficient in using AQL tables for sampling and judgment.

• Defect classification (can classify defects accurately as critical, major, or minor) measurement and fit evaluation (able to perform precise garment measurements and evaluate fit based on tech packs or spec sheets) knowledge of testing requirements (basic understanding of common tests like colorfastness, seam slippage, wash testing, etc.)

• Report writing & documentation (able to fill out inspection reports clearly with defect photos and concise comments) understanding of production processes (familiar with cutting, sewing, washing, and finishing stages of production)

Qualifications:

• Graduate of B.S. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Pharmacy, Food Technology / Food Science, Industrial Technology / Manufacturing Technology, or other related courses

• At least 1 year of experience in beauty and personal care production, quality inspection, or related manufacturing processes
