Job summary

RMR Personal Care and Cosmetics Manufacturing in Cavite, Philippines is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to verify material readiness and ensure compliance with approved documents. The role covers inspections during production and in-process checks for appearance, weight, packaging integrity, and labeling accuracy.

Candidates should have a related degree and 1–3 years QA experience; familiarity with GMP and deviation reporting is a plus; willing to relocate to Bacoor.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a related science field.
• 10 years QA experience preferred.
• Experience in cosmetics or personal care manufacturing is an advantage.
• Familiar with GMP, sampling and inspection procedures.
• Non-conformance reporting and deviation handling.
• Willing to relocate or commute to Niog II, Bacoor, Cavite.

Responsibilities

• Verify readiness of materials and applicable quality requirements before production activities commence.
• Confirm materials issue for production correspond with approved documents and specifications.
• Check that obsolete materials, previous product components, labels, documents and potential sources of mix-up have been removed.
• Perform scheduled and/or risk-based inspections during manufacturing, filling, labeling, packing, and other production activities.
• Perform in-process checks such as appearance, color, odor, weight/fill, volume, packaging integrity and other defined criteria.
• Document inspection results accurately and contemporaneously.
• Elevate deviations or non-conforming conditions to supervisor as needed.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Check that obsolete materials, previous product components, labels, documents and potential sources of mix-up have been appropriately removed.
• Perform scheduled and/or risk-based inspections during manufacturing, filling, labeling, packing, and other production activities.
• Perform applicable physical and in-process checks such as appearance, color, odor, weight/fill, volume, packaging integrity and other defined criteria.
• Document inspection results accurately and contemporaneously.
• Immediately elevate deviations or non-conforming conditions to direct superior if needed.

About You

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Pharmacy, Biology, Microbiology or any other related field.
• Preferably 1-3 years experience in a Quality Assurance role.
• Work experience in a cosmetics or personal care manufacturing is an advantage.
• Familiar with GMP, Sampling and Inspection procedures.
• Non-conformance and deviation reporting.
