Job summary

TIERRA AGRI TECHNOLOGIES, INC. seeks a qualified QA/Laboratory Analyst to plan and organize project research and test trial activities in coordination with the QC and Laboratory Head and Production Engineer.

The role involves coordinating with outside agencies for R&D project development and product evaluation, gathering literature for development, organizing data and summaries, sourcing materials, sampling and testing incoming materials, and performing QA and lab duties while maintaining clean

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in science (Chemistry or Chemical Engineering) is required.
• License Chemist or Licensed Chemical Technician preferred.
• Minimum 1 year laboratory-related experience; fresh graduates may apply if licensure is passed.
• Good oral and written communication, detail-oriented with initiative, leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize project research and test trials with QC/Lab Head or Production Engineer.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and organize project/s research and test trial activities in coordination with the QC and Laboratory Head and/or Production Engineer.

• Coordinate with outside agencies/laboratories for R and D project development and/or R and D product evaluation.

• Gathering information/literature for operational/product development.

• Organize filing test data and technical literature. Prepare summaries, conclusions and recommendations of studies or test conducted.

• Sourcing of materials and/or equipment needed in the project.

• Sampling and testing of incoming materials.

• Perform duties of QA and Laboratory Analyst as required, go on shifting schedule if needed and other miscellaneous task or duty as required by the superior.

• Perform daily housekeeping in area of responsibility, observed and maintain cleanliness of workplace, laboratory equipment

Job Specification

• Formal Education : Bachelor in Science in Chemistry, B.S. Chemical Engineering or related filed of study.

• Must be a License Chemist or Licensed Chemical Technician

• Experience : Minimum of one (1) year laboratory related ecperience, but no work experience is encourage to apply provided that he/she passed the Chemist/Chemical Technician Licensure Exam.

• Others : Possesses good oral and written communication skills, quality of a good leader and with initiative. Keen on details. Knowledge in Kjeldahl Method, AAS, Spectrophotometer are advantage.
