Job summary

BAUCH is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Analyst with 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or food supplement environments to join our QC team in Cavite. The role covers testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples to ensure quality specifications and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Chemistry, BS Chemical Engineering, or allied science.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in quality control chemistry or related roles in pharma or food supplement manufacturing.
• Proficient in operating laboratory equipment such as HPLC, AAS, GC.
• Experience with UV-Vis, IR, Dissolution testing and other lab instruments.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills; knowledge of GMP/GLP.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples.
• Operate and maintain analytical laboratory instruments (HPLC, AAS, GC, UV-Vis, IR, Dissolution Tester).
• Prepare reagents, standards, and test solutions for analysis.
• Document, review, and report analytical results in accordance with procedures.
• Ensure GMP/GLP compliance and support investigations of OOS/OOT results.

Quality Control Analyst (Pharmaceutical or Food Supplement experience)

Department: Quality Control

Work Schedule: Mondays to Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

About the Role

BAUCH is looking for a highly motivated Quality Control Laboratory Analyst to join our Quality Control team. This role is responsible for performing laboratory testing and analytical evaluation of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples to ensure compliance with quality specifications and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with analytical laboratory instruments, strong technical and problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and laboratory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Chemistry, BS Chemical Engineering, or any allied science‑related course.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience with any of the following roles: Quality Control Chemist, R&D Laboratory Chemist, Chemical Technician, Chemical Analyst, or equivalent role in a pharmaceutical or food supplement manufacturing company or any science industry.
• Proficient in operating laboratory equipment such as HPLC, AAS, and GC.
• Experienced in analytical testing using UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, IR Spectrophotometer, Dissolution Tester, and other laboratory instruments.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Knowledgeable in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Practices and upholds Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Highly organized with excellent documentation and record‑keeping skills.
• Willing to work on-site in Silang, Cavite, Mondays to Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality control testing and analytical evaluation of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples.
• Operate and maintain analytical laboratory instruments, including HPLC, AAS, GC, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, IR Spectrophotometer, Dissolution Tester, and other laboratory equipment.
• Prepare reagents, standards, test solutions, and samples required for laboratory analysis.
• Accurately document, review, and report analytical results in accordance with approved procedures and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assist in laboratory investigations involving out-of-specification (OOS), out-of-trend (OOT), or non-conforming results.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, equipment readiness, and proper handling of laboratory chemicals, reagents, and reference standards.
• Support laboratory equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and qualification activities.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Production, and Research & Development teams to support product quality and manufacturing operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and quality systems.
