Job summary

Sunny and Scramble Corporation in Laguna, Philippines is seeking a QA Specialist to monitor and verify the quality and safety of warehouse and production processes on a daily basis. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Food Science/Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology or related field, with 6 months to 1 year of QC/QA experience, and is willing to work night shifts from Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities include inspection, documentation, root cause analysis, and updates to QA

Qualifications

• Exposure to QA activities such as inspection, verification, training and root cause analysis.
• At least 6 months to 1 year working experience in quality control/assurance or related technical expertise.

• Performs sensory evaluation of products in storage and finished goods.
• Willing to work night shift and Monday to Saturday.

• Performs checking, inspection and verification on the process of warehouse operations concerning quality and food safety on a daily schedule.

• Conducts daily verification on the process involves inside the production area of warehouse.

• Monitor and ensure disposal of finished product recommended for condemnation and spoilage.

• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and legal regulations.

• Keep up to date with current methods and techniques relevant to food processing, warehousing and discuss it to the QA Superiors.

• Escalating, reporting and documenting of concerns, issues and non - compliance to immediate superiors.

• Perform sensory evaluation of the products inside storage and finished products.

• Willing to work Night Shift and from Monday to Saturday.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. GRADUATE OF BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN FOOD SCIENCE/TECHNOLOGY, CHEMISTRY, MICROBIOLOGY OR ANY RELATED COURSE.

2. WITH EXPOSURE ON TECHNICAL QA ACTIVITIES LIKE INSPECTION, VERIFICATION, TRAINING AND PERFORMING ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS.

3. AT LEAST 6 MONTHS TO 1 YEAR WORKING EXPERIENCE IN QUALITY CONTROL/ASSURANCE OR RELATED TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
