Job summary

Cleanvironment Waste Management Services Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to ensure construction activities meet project specs and regulatory requirements, with a focus on pipe-laying works and related civil/mechanical tasks.

The role involves developing and maintaining the PQMP, conducting inspections, coordinating with engineers and subcontractors, and preparing ITPs and quality procedures to drive non-conformance resolution and thorough documentation onsite in Iloilo City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Licensed Engineer (PRC license preferred).
• Minimum of five years in construction, with at least 5 years in pipe-laying works.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, standards, and documentation.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan.
• Conduct inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and workmanship.
• Monitor daily construction activities for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Supervise pipe-laying works, including alignment, jointing, bedding, and backfilling.
• Ensure all works comply with relevant Philippine codes and international standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO).
• Prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors regarding quality issues.
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure proper corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Maintain quality records, test reports, and documentation.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on quality-related matters.
• Conduct internal audits and assist in external audits when required.

• Willing to work on-site and be assigned to project locations.
• Training or certification in QA/QC (e.g., ISO 9001 awareness or internal auditor).
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure or pipeline projects.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards.
