Job summary

Patient Care Corporation is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to help implement and monitor the QMS and regulatory programs under the QARA Manager. The role supports quality inspections, documentation control, and incident handling to ensure compliance with FDA guidelines, GSP, GDP, and related regulatory requirements for medical devices and healthcare products.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a science field and 1–3 years in QA or regulatory affairs, with strong attention to detail,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medical Technology, Chemistry or Biology.
• 1–3 years in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, or QMS, preferably in medical device/pharma distribution.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, GSP, GDP, and QMS.
• Experience in quality documentation, inspections, and audit support is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and documentation management systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and monitoring the QMS and internal procedures.
• Maintain QA records and monitoring forms.
• Disseminate and implement new or revised SOPs and forms.
• Conduct inspections to ensure warehouse storage and handling comply with quality standards.
• Identify and report product quality issues.
• Document and report product complaints or incidents to principals and relevant departments.
• Assist in returning defective or quarantined products for investigation.
• Assist in internal quality assessments and compliance audits.
• Conduct periodic warehouse inspections to ensure FDA, GSP, and GDP compliance.
• Support external audits by regulatory agencies and certification bodies.

About the role

The Quality Assurance Officer assists in implementing and monitoring the company's quality management system and regulatory compliance programs under the supervision of the QARA Manager. The role supports quality inspections, regulatory documentation monitoring, incident handling, and audit activities to ensure compliance with applicable standards such as Good Storage Practice, Good Distribution Practice, and other regulatory requirements relevant to the distribution of medical devices and related healthcare products.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and internal quality procedures
• Maintain and organize QA records, monitoring forms, and other quality-related documents
• Assist in the dissemination and implementation of new or revised SOPs, work instructions, and quality forms
• Conduct inspections and ensure that product storage and handling in warehouses, including quarantined items, comply with quality standards
• Implement procedures for identifying and reporting product quality issues
• Assist in documenting and reporting product complaints or incidents to principals and relevant departments
• Facilitate the return of defective or quarantined products to principals for investigation
• Assist in conducting internal quality assessments and compliance audits
• Conduct periodic inspections of company warehouses to ensure compliance with FDA, GSP, and GDP standards
• Support external audits conducted by regulatory agencies and certification bodies

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or other related science or healthcare courses
• At least 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, or Quality Management Systems, preferably in a medical device or pharmaceutical distribution company
• Knowledgeable in FDA regulations, Good Storage Practice (GSP), Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Experience in quality documentation, inspections, and audit support is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and documentation management systems
