Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of QA experience in pharmaceutical or medical device distribution environments.
• Strong knowledge of GDP guidelines and Philippine FDA regulatory requirements.
• Experience developing and implementing quality management systems and SOPs.
• Capable of ensuring product handling, storage, and cold chain compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA policies and systems for pharma and medical devices distribution.

• Monitor product quality across reception, storage, handling, and delivery operations.

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for the Distribution of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices to join Integrated Market Services (Philippines), Inc. in Maybunga, Pasig City, Metro Manila on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and regulatory adherence across our pharmaceutical and medical device distribution operations. You will play a vital role in safeguarding product integrity, maintaining regulatory compliance, and upholding our commitment to excellence in healthcare supply chain management. This role is critical to our mission of delivering safe and effective products to healthcare facilities and end-users throughout the Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance policies, procedures, and systems specific to pharmaceutical and medical device distribution
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of distribution facilities, storage areas, and handling processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
• Monitor and manage product quality throughout the distribution chain, including receiving, storage, handling, and delivery operations
• Ensure compliance with relevant pharmaceutical and medical device regulations, including Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines and regulatory requirements set by the Philippine Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
• Investigate and document product quality issues, deviations, and non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as needed
• Oversee training and competency development programmes for quality assurance and distribution staff to maintain high standards of professional expertise
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, suppliers, and customers regarding quality matters and regulatory compliance
• Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, records, and reports to demonstrate compliance and support regulatory inspections
• Lead cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor supplier and manufacturer quality standards to ensure products meet specifications upon receipt

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in quality assurance within pharmaceutical or medical device distribution environments
• In-depth knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines and Philippine FDA regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical and medical device distribution
• Proven experience in developing and implementing quality management systems and standard operating procedures
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and medical device product handling, storage conditions, and cold chain management
• Demonstrated competency in conducting audits, inspections, and quality investigations
• Excellent knowledge of corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes and root cause analysis methodologies
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to influence and motivate staff across departments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Filipino proficiency is advantageous
• Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Professional certification in Quality Management (such as ISO 9001 or equivalent) is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities with a commitment to regulatory compliance and product safety
