Job summary

Transcell Technology Inc. is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector for electronics manufacturing. You will inspect raw materials, components, and subassemblies, and perform functional and visual checks on finished products to ensure compliance with quality procedures.

The role requires at least a diploma or degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and 2+ years in electronics QA. You will document non-conformities, issue NCRs, and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in electronics or semiconductor industry.
• Familiarity with electronic components, PCB layouts, and soldering standards.
• Certifications such as IPC-A-610 or ISO 9001 auditor are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify raw materials, components, and subassemblies upon receipt.
• Ensure supplier parts meet specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality procedures.
• Perform inspections at various assembly stages (PCB assembly, soldering, wiring).
• Identify and document non-conformities and initiate corrective actions.
• Perform functional and visual inspections of finished electronic products.
• Use testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, automated test equipment) to verify performance.
• Maintain detailed inspection records, test reports, and quality logs.
• Prepare and issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) and assist in root cause analysis.

About you

• Proficient in using inspection and test tools (e.g., magnifiers, AOI, ICT, functional testers)

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Knowledge of quality systems and documentation practices

• Certifications such as IPC-A-610 or ISO 9001 auditor are a plus
