Job summary

IT Managers, Inc. is seeking an experienced QA/Test Engineer to drive quality across software projects. You will design and execute test plans, participate in requirements reviews, and collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure robust releases.

Responsibilities include manual and automated testing with Katalon Studio, defect tracking, and contributing to QA process improvements and automation coverage. Strong communication and documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio for test automation.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon Studio.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to investigate and resolve issues.
• Perform test execution across different environments and ensure application functionality meets requirements.
• Participate in requirements reviews and provide input on testability and potential risks.
• Maintain clear documentation of test results, defects, and testing activities.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, automation coverage, and testing standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
