Job summary

solaireresort is seeking an experienced QA Tester to join our team in Manila. You will plan and execute comprehensive test cases, perform functional, UAT, regression, and integration testing across web, mobile, and API-enabled platforms, and document defects with steps and evidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in software QA/testing; or equivalent.
• Knowledge of software testing principles and QA processes.
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Ability to create and execute test cases and test scenarios.
• Familiarity with defect/bug tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Test planning and test case creation based on requirements.
• Functional & UAT testing of web, mobile, APIs/integrations, and Back Office systems.
• Regression testing to ensure new deployments do not break existing features.
• Integration testing of internal systems and third-party services.
• Bug identification, documentation, reproduction steps, and reporting.
• Defect tracking and retesting until closure.
• Production validation and post-deployment checks.
• Investigation of issues and coordination for root cause resolution.
• Test documentation, reporting, and status updates.
• Cross-team coordination with Developers, Product, Operations, and Vendors.
• Support releases and go-live activities with pre/post deployment validation.
