Job summary

PL Aguila Manufacturing Incorporated is seeking an QA Tech/Micro Analyst to conduct microbiological testing of finished products, packaging materials and environmental/swab samples to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.

The role supports environmental monitoring, data trending, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions, while maintaining laboratory documentation and adherence to GLP and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Biology or Microbiology is required or preferred.
• Experience in microbiology lab procedures is advantageous.
• Knowledge of GLP and food safety standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological testing of finished products, packaging materials, and environmental/swab samples.
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance, cleanliness, safety, inventory and documentation of the Microbiology Laboratory as per GLP and procedures.
• Support environmental monitoring, data trending, investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Perform QA-related duties and assist in reporting and record-keeping as needed.

Job description

QA Tech/Micro Analyst is directly responsible for conducting microbiological
testing of finished products, packaging materials, and environmental/swab
samples to ensure compliance with established quality and food safety standards.
The position also ensures the proper operation, maintenance, cleanliness, safety,
inventory, and documentation of the Microbiology Laboratory in accordance with
GLP and company procedures. He/she supports environmental monitoring, data
trending, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions, and performs
other QA-related duties as required.

Entry Level

Job Requirements:

• Must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College degree preferably in Food
• Technology, Biology or Microbiology
• At least 1 year related work experience in the food manufacturing industry
• Works on shifting schedul
• Proficient in Micro. Analysis procedures & Good Micro Lab. practices
• Knowledgeable in Food Safety Management Systems and principles (HACCP, ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000)
