Job summary

MicroSourcing in Manila is seeking a QA Support Engineer to join our onsite team in Eastwood, Quezon City. You will execute regression and smoke testing across web and mobile workflows to ensure release quality.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of QA experience, strong attention to detail, and solid documentation skills. Familiarity with Jira and the ability to work in shifting schedules while communicating clearly with engineering and support teams.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in software QA, support engineering, or junior software development.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate technical issues independently.
• Comfortable reading and understanding application workflows.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira.
• Ability to work onsite in Eastwood, Quezon City, and in shifting schedules.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute regression and smoke testing across web and mobile workflows to ensure release quality.
• Validate completed tickets against acceptance criteria and document bugs clearly for engineering review.
• Maintain and improve QA checklists, test scenarios, and internal documentation.
• Investigate product issues escalated by internal support teams and reproduce reported bugs.
• Resolve minor data or configuration issues directly when appropriate.
• Escalate validated engineering defects with clear documentation to minimize interruption to core engineers.
• Complete low-complexity development tasks including front-end updates, minor bug fixes, validation rules, and internal tooling tasks.
• Support testing and implementation of scoped product enhancements.
